hey, lovelies!
i am lori from a crazy walk on the safe side. i am so excited that lauren has asked me to tell you about where i call home {athens, georgia}, where i actually have only been a resident for about 6 months.
i am originally from metro atlanta and went to college in small town middle georgia. there i met my hubs {who i married a couple of weeks after graduating with a degree in management}… after a few years {of having zero good shopping options and being tired of eating at the same handful of restaurants}… we outgrew small town life.
since we made the move, i am constantly being asked how i like it in athens…

but the best way i can describe it to you is it just feels RIGHT. you see, the hubs is a small town boy. and i like to think of myself as a city girl. athens is the perfect compromise. it’s small enough that you don’t get stuck in traffic every where you go, but big enough so that there’s always something to do.
it’s a very unique town. besides the bulldogs {since we already covered that}, athens is known for good music and food. the georgia theatre is the landmark concert venue… it burned in 2009, but was rebuilt.. opening back up in 2011, better than ever.
