It could have been last week or a couple of days ago when I thought about how I wanted to change Pink on the Cheek for the better.
( I am horrible about time and math which I think are same thing since it’s numbers.)
But I digress…I wanted to give my sponsors more exposure on the blog since my favorite thing about blogging is promoting others, sharing my stories with you and basically just socializing and having fun.
So I updated my advertising section and I also raised prices because I thought, if I do more for you guys, I should be paid a wee bit more. I thought the price was fair with what I was providing. As I read over my blog, I even said something like “I know that advertising can be expensive”, and as I read those words over again…I thought…I think these prices are not me. Because when I am looking to sponsor a blog…sometimes they ask for something like $40 and to me that is expensive. I even have seen a blogger ask for $200 and to me that is ridiculous!!
On my spiel I wanted to share that I am kicking it back old school with the prices and made a change.
Sponsoring can be expensive and since the economy is rough on everyone, I brought back the free ads. So for every medium size ad, if you use the promo code PINK you will get it for FREE.
Now if you would like to swap on these ads, that would be cool too since I am a broke girl and LOVE free advertisement, but if not… take the promo code, share it with your friends, use it every month if you want to, the world is your oyster with that ad space.
Next would be the rest of the ads. They all have come down in price. No more promo codes on that one because that would be confusing for me. All the rest of the prices are under $12!
I feel much better about this and I am so glad I can have the chance to help you grow your business.
On a side note, starting September 1st, I am starting the “Pin it, Did it” link-up. I will love more co-hosts if you want to join. Basically I will give you a prompt at the beginning of the month, say “make a crock pot meal” and then you head to pinterest, find a crock pot meal you love and then make it and of course blog about it. At the end of the month you will link up with how your experience went!
What do you think? Yay! Nay?
