FALL in Love

OH Neely, you have made me so happy to be talking about fall.  I don't care that it's August, I am so ready for it to be cold, to be cuddling in blankets, and drinking specialty holiday drinks.  I can't wait, let's get started!!

1. What is your favorite Fall activity?

My favorite fall activity would have to be going to Disneyland and seeing all the Halloween decorations. No one does Halloween better than Disneyland. 

Every nook and cranny is filled with pumpkins, friendly ghosts, 

and spooky skeletons!

Cool outfit Lauren. What are those, knee high socks and chuck taylors paired with a jean skirt? Glad I have documentation of this.

2. Do you follow a football team? if so which one and why?

Yes! I totally follow football. 
Just kidding.
 I definitely watch the 49ers since I am a born and bred NorCal girl. 
It's in our blood to root for the niners. 
You have to be faithful. 

3. What is something fun about Fall in your area?

I love the pumpkin farms around here in Orange County. There is this place, Tanaka Farms. You can do a hayride, pick pumpkins, eat pumpkin bread made on the farm. I went to this shopping mall pumpkin farm last year. It was so ghetto. All these rotting pumpkins in a big pile. No picking, just grabbing. 
That is not fall. The farm is fall.  

I quite possibly was yelling at Ernie to watch our wheel barrel of pumpkins. Damn pumpkin thieves. 

4. Fav Fall outfit staples?

Everything. 
Boots. 
Sweater socks.
Big sweaters.
Scarves.
Beanies.
Flannel.
Uggs.

5. Thing you are looking forward to most about this 

coming Fall season?

I am looking forward to traveling to the East Coast to see friends. Hopefully it will be a lot colder in Virginia than in California. I need the perfect excuse to bring a warm jacket! 

6. Favorite Fall holiday? Traditions?

My favorite fall holiday would be Christmas. 
Now that I have a fiance, I cannot wait to send out Christmas cards together. 
For so many years I have been waiting for this moment. 


I also got Ernie and Mochi their first stockings last year so I had to teach him about it! 
Ernie said it was just more little presents for me to get.

I also love watching The Christmas Story, The Grinch, wearing my Hanna Andersson PJs (in green and red stripes of course), I love Christmas shopping for everyone, I love seeing Santa at the mall with anxious little kids, and just so much more. 


Hooray for fall!!


Oh and I love back to school shopping, that is a fall tradition that I have not grown out of just yet.
