How to have the perfect night...alone

So your boyfriend, girlfriend, fiance, husband, wife, children...etc.
are out of town or just out with friends for the night.
What are you going to do?
Well you have to plan accordingly to make sure it's most perfect night possible.
If they leave in the morning and won't be back until the next day, you have a good 24 hours.
1. Spend the afternoon shopping.

Well at first you may think, well what is so great about shopping? I shop all the time.
Well your shopping trip will be perfect because:
a. you don't have your significant other/children slowing you down
b. you can take as long as you want browsing the isles of such places like Target
c. you don't have to hide your new clothes in the car and wait to bring them in when no one will see!
2. Lay on the couch after you get home from shopping.
It's going to feel amazing because you will be exhausted from being on your feet all day.
It's also okay if you fall asleep too.
3. Turn on the TV, but it has to be a repeat of something.
Friends, Sex & the City, When Harry Met Sally, anything that you have seen before because we all know that our partners never let us just watch repeats of our favorite shows!!
4. Eat your favorite things for dinner
Especially the things that you don't make when you have to feed a whole family.
I love things like this for dinner when I am alone:
a. burgers
b. mexican food
c. bread, cheeses, wine (because that is a meal)
5. Eat Dessert!!
Anything you want to eat.
Cupcakes, ice cream, cheesecake, pie, whatever your heart desires.
You don't have to share with anyone, it's your night!!
6. Finish off the night with romantic comedy movie marathon and pinning on Pinterest
The best is being under a blanket, dog by your feet, Sleepless in Seattle on Netflix, and a laptop on your tummy while you are are just pinning new recipes, crafts, fitness inspiration, cute animals, sayings that make you feel better, and home decor.
This my friends, is the perfect night alone in my opinion.
In fact, it's what I did today and it was perfect.
What is your favorite thing to do when your significant other is out of town?

  3. I loved this post Lauren! My favorite things to do are read and rearrange the house! My latest post is about 'going at it alone' (though a bit different to yours)

My husband is away for four months, I've been looking at it as '16Weeks' (http://vanishaslife.blogspot.com.au/search/label/16Weekends)and planning things for every weekend, it's been great - a mixture of things I love to do and discovering new things. I feel like I should recreate your perfect night alone on one of the weekends! xoxox
