Right now: It's 8:30 on a Tuesday night and I just got done watching my fiance play softball with his team, The Puppies.
Watching: Right now I am not watching anything but the microwave
Eating: Trader Joes's Cajun Chicken Alfredo Pasta
Drinking: A glass of red wine
Wearing: my favorite Lululemon pants that have mint stipes, a black and gray tank top
Avoiding: Bedtime. I really need some good zzz's this week but I can't make it earlier than 11pm.
Feeling: Just plain exhausted. Traffic was insane on the way home tonight. All I wanted to do was get home at a decent hour, but it didn't happen. Not even Joy the Baker could calm me down.
Missing: My momma so much. I keep catching myself to call her but then I remember she is 1/2 around the world in Spain. I just want to talk to her and tell her about my day.
Thankful: I am so thankful for my new job. I love my co-workers and my CEO. We all went on a field trip to Balboa Island for a quarterly meeting. He then gave each employee $20 to have fun with after, whether to have a drink, gas money, some coffee...it was ours. I thought that was so nice.
Weather: It is pretty humid for California. It was cloudy all day and it seemed like snuggling under the blanket weather but it was so sticky outside. Ugh.
Praying: That my mom is traveling safely. That my brothers are okay and safe.
Thinking: about pressure. Pressure from those stinkin student loans. They are killing me. I really hate that I chose to go to college and now I cannot pay off those stinkin loans. I just pray that one day they will not be a burden.
Needing: just more rest. I just want to sit under a blanket with the tv on slowly closing my eyes to fall asleep on the couch.
Loving: my fiance, Ernie. Just plain and simple love.

And here I thought I had a great job. I want your boss! I get excited when Dan gives me a quarter.
ReplyDeleteplain and simple is the best kind of love. I hope you get some rest!
ReplyDeleteI feel you on the student loans. Wish I would've thought it through a little more in college but hey, the best investment you can make is in yourself!
