6 Facebook Groups You Should Join

6-Facebook-Groups-You-Should-Join

Growing your blog doesn’t have to cost tons of money. Heck, it doesn’t even need to cost you a cent! Facebook groups are a growing trend among bloggers and entrepreneurs because they allow you find others within your niche who are there to help you promote your amazing work.

But, have you ever joined a Facebook group where it was filled with spammy promotions from bloggers, unorganized threads, or even worse – bloggers who don’t reciprocate? Ain’t nobody got time for that. Today I am going to show you the Facebook groups you should join that will help you grow your blog.

Awesome Bloggers

This group founded by Pauline Cabrera of Twelve Skip has to be one of the biggest groups I have joined on Facebook. It’s also one of the most organized group with lots of admins who keep it running smoothly. There are so many threads to join like blog comments, Pinterest repins, website visits, and Stumbleupon threads. But be warned that these threads get really big and they are an “all or nothing” type of thread. If they find that you are not reciprocating back to all, you will be removed from the group. So make sure you are staying on top of the threads you join.

Grow Your Blog

This is a group that I founded and ran for about a year before releasing it to my amazing admins. I started this group because I needed to promote my blog and social media wasn’t cutting it. I also wanted a group that was easy to manage when reciprocating with other bloggers. I think the best part of the group is that you only have to reciprocate back to a minimum of 5 comments. If you wanted to test the waters and see if you could handle the added blog commitment, this would be a good place to start. Plus this group has Follow For Follow threads so it’s a great way to boost up your social media following.

Blog + Biz BFFS

This group was founded by Melyssa of The Nectar Collective and it’s chock full of helpful advice for bloggers and small business owners. This group doesn’t have much for promotion and pushing your content, but it does have lots of areas where you can find others to collaborate with, designers for projects, and general blogging advice. There is a weekly promo thread (Friday) where you can share what you have been working on.

Promote Your Website

This is an overflow blog group from Awesome Bloggers. There are tons of similar threads so if you are looking for a little bit more promotion of your content, this would be a great choice. I also like that this group has a Click-Through thread of sponsored posts.

Bloggers Get Social

This group founded by Krystal of Krystal’s Kitsch has a lot of promotion threads, but it also has a thread for Periscope users. This is a fast growing social media tool, so if you are a user, this would be a good place to promote. This group also has a daily Instagram challenge if you like using Instagram.

Non-Parent Blog Promotion Group

This group founded by Anna of Anna in Wonderland is on the small scale, but it gives the non-mommy bloggers a place to promote their blogs. Basically, it’s for the promotion of topics other than parenting. I have found that when running a Facebook group, it’s hard to comment back on parenting blogs while reciprocating because comments aren’t genuine. It’s content that isn’t always relatable so this is a place where non-parenting topics can be found.

UPDATED BONUS: Creative Social Club

This is my newest Facebook group! Started this month, I wanted to create an online space where creatives can chat and collaborate about their blog or business. I am hoping to have Creative Happy Hours where members can meet in person! If you want to join, I would LOVE to have you!
